Police Investigate Sex Attack Blocks From Obama Home

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police have put out a community alert about an alleged sex attack on a teenage girl yesterday in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Chicago police say the alleged rape happened yesterday morning around 10:30 on 52nd and Berkeley about three blocks from President Obama's home.

Berkeley is a small, one block street that seems more like an alley.

Police say the 14-year-old victim was walking her dog when a man came up from behind her and pushed her between a couple of nearby garages.

Police say the suspect was African-American. He was clean-shaven--at least six-foot two, about 35 to 40 years old--and was wearing a black jacket that has yellow stripes on the arms, as well as black Nike shoes.
