Police Fire At Man Who Points Gun In Roseland
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police fired shots at a man when he pointed a weapon at them in the Roseland neighborhood Monday evening.
No one was struck, and the man was arrested.
Officers responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in the 10400 block of South Wentworth Avenue about 6 p.m. Monday, and arrived to find a man running out the back door of the house, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
Police were chasing the man when he turned and pointed a gun at them, Greer said. At least one of the officers fired at him, but did not strike him.
The man was arrested, and charges were pending Tuesday morning, Greer said.
A weapon was recovered from the scene, she said.
