Police Find Man Fatally Shot At His Home
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot early Sunday at his South Chicago home.
Christian Pichardo, 18, of 8519 S. Muskegon Ave., was shot at his home and was dead on the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Police responded at 4:32 a.m. and found the man dead with multiple gunshot wounds, police News Affairs Officer Anne Dwyer said.
A Monday autopsy determined Pichardo died of multiple gunshot wounds and the death was ruled a homicide.
The murder happened just a block from an apparently unrelated shooting less than eight hours earlier.
At 8:58 p.m. Sunday, a 19-year-old man walked into Advocate Trinity Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, Dwyer said.
Nobody is in custody for either shooting.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
