Police: Domestic Dispute Led To Deadly Crash

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police say a deadly accident on the city's West Side started after a domestic dispute.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Bernie Tafoya reports, the crash happened just after 10 p.m. Sunday in the 5200 block of West North Avenue in the North Austin neighborhood.

The deceased victim was a man in his 20s, but his identity was not immediately available.
Grand Central Area police detectives were in the 4300 block of West North Avenue when they saw a vehicle ramming another vehicle, according to police News Affairs. The man in the ramming vehicle sped off westbound on North Avenue when detectives tried to stop him.
The vehicle driven by the man then struck several vehicles -- ejecting him from his own vehicle -- in the 5200 block of West North Avenue, police said.
Police said the man was unresponsive on the scene and that the incident appears to be domestic-related. They have not said what touched off the episode.
Detectives continue their investigation.
