Police: DNA Links Man To Sexual Assualt Against Teen
(STMW) -- A south suburban man was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl on the South Side last month.
Arteria Austin Jr., 23, of the 4100 block of West 127th Street in Alsip, was charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault after he was identified by DNA evidence, according to a release from police News Affairs.
Austin allegedly assaulted the teen Nov. 9 in the 5100 block of Wabash Avenue, police said.
Austin will appear in bond court on Dec. 12.
