Police Discover Child, 3, Holding Gun During Traffic Stop
CHICAGO (CBS) - Police officers got a surprise when the person they found holding a gun during a recent stop on the West Side was a 3-year-old girl.
Police stopped the car because of something they had seen many times before: children in the car not strapped into car seats or secured by seat belts.
What they found when they got to the car is something they had never seen: a 3-year-old with a gun.
