Police: Boy's Lockport Township House Was Targeted
LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, Ill. (WBBM/CBS) -- Will County Sheriff's Police detectives say the house in Lockport Township where a 14-year-old boy was shot to death earlier this week was targeted for the attack.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's David Roe reports, detectives say they don't know why someone fired shots at the house, nor do they know whom the gunmen were trying to shoot.

But detectives say they have information that the house was the intended target.
Deont'e Lesley, 14, and his 17-year-old cousin were playing video games when they were shot.
Both boys were taken to Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, where Deont'e was pronounced dead, Will County Sheriff Paul Kaupas said. His cousin was wounded, but survived.
Deont'e's relatives said he was the shining light in the family and in the neighborhood.
The boy had dreams of making it to the NFL, and those dreams included his mother, Antoinette Walker.
"He said, I'm going to take of you, mama, when I make it big. You'll never have anything to worry about, because I'm going to take care of you," Walker said. "I truly miss my baby. I really do."
The Chicago Tribune reports the detectives have made no arrests and have no persons of interest in the shooting.
