Playing Without Captain Serious
The Blackhawks have had to battle injuries all season long. After they entered Tuesday's game against the Blues as healthy as they have all season, they left the game not sure how long they'd be without Jonathon Toews.
While the team is accustomed to dealing with injures this season, the loss of Toews could be the toughest to deal with.
"The team just really depends on what he does all over the ice," Chris Kuc, of the Chicago Tribune, said on 670 The Score. "From faceoffs to dinging in the corners to being the captain, he really brings more to the table than just scoring."

It's those intangibles that the Blackhawks will have to replace, if in fact Toews' injury will keep him out of action. Toews' injury is only being listed as an upper body injury, and details probably won't come out until the next Blackhawks' practice.
"In the likelihood that he does miss a game or two, or longer, you probably move Patrick Sharp back to wing and go down to Rockford and bring up a winger," Kuc said.
But, again, this isn't the first time this season that the Blackhawks will have to deal with an injury to a key player.
"The 'Hawks are used to this," Kuc said. "They've been without Brian Campbell, for an extended period, Marian Hossa, Patrick Kane and now possibly Toews for a little while. So these are things that you need to overcome, it happens, but it is certainly a big blow if it is serious."
