Plane Blows Tires While Landing At O'Hare
CHICAGO (WBBM) - An American Eagle plane flying into O'Hare Airport Tuesday evening blew two tires on landing.
American Airlines says there were no injuries reported among the 50 passengers and 3 crew members and the plane originated from Buffalo, New York.
The pilot pulled the plane onto a taxiway, where the tires could be changed and the passengers were bussed to the terminals, according to American Airlines.
Plane tires, American says, are designed so they don't completely deflate like a car tire might, so passengers would not have felt much.
The plane is an Embraer ERJ 145, which is a 50-seat jet.
