Plainfield Boy Cuts Fingers Using Snow Blower
PLAINFIELD (WBBM) -- A teenage boy in Plainfield was injured this morning while clearing snow with a snow blower before school.
Paramedics were called to a home on Dan Patch Drive after the boy got his hand caught in the snow blower, slicing off two of his fingers.

Police said the 14-year-old may have been having trouble starting the machine and stuck his hand into the blade.
He was conscious when authorities arrived, and he was taken to a local hospital. It was not clear whether doctors would be able to reattach the fingers.
