Pills, $20,000 Cash Stolen At Teens' Party Near McHenry
McHENRY, Ill. (CBS) -- Police in McHenry County are looking for someone who took advantage of two teens, who were themselves taking advantage of their parents by having a party when they were home alone recently.
As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, McHenry County Sheriff's police said two sisters, 15 and 18, threw a party without their parents' permission while their parents were out of town on Feb. 11.
When it was over, about $25,000 in crash and about 100 Hydrocodone pills were missing, police said.
About 25 teens attended the party in the 800 block of Florence Street in unincorporated McHenry, police said.
Anyone with information on who took the money and drugs is asked to call McHenry County Sheriff's police at (815) 338-2144.
