Pig-fat Material Spill In Northwest Indiana Closes Ramp At Cline And Borman; Cleanup May Take A Week
CHICAGO (CBS) -- If it smells like bacon in Northwest Indiana there's a very good reason.
Officials say a company spilled a pig-fat based material on the ramp connecting Cline Avenue to the Borman Expressway.
The spill is not hazardous to the public, but the ramp is closed for several days while crews will work around the clock to clean up the spill.
