Photographer Remembers Chilling 9/11 Image
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The photographer who captured one of the most memorable pictures of the terrorist attack on New York City 10 years ago is looking back at that moment.
As WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports, Associated Press photographer Richard Drew took the chilling picture of a man plunging from an upper floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, as fires raged.

Drew says he is surprised that after being printed in a number of newspapers, the picture all but disappeared, and was rarely used again.
"It's not a violent picture. It isn't like Eddie Adams' picture of the Vietnamese officer shooting the man in the head in the street," Drew said. "But my quiet picture of a man falling – part of his life – has been shunned."
The identity of the falling man has never been confirmed.
But five years after the attacks, he was identified by an employer as Jonathan Briley, an employee of the Windows on the World restaurant on the top floor of the North Tower, according to published reports.
As for Drew, he had had a very different photo assignment on Sept. 11 before the attacks. The Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer was supposed to shoot Fall Fashion Week in New York.
