Photo: Rays To Do List Includes Killing Steve Irwin, Winning The World Series
(WSCR) Pour a little coffee out this morning in remembrance of the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
Irwin, known for spending his time dangerously close to man-eating animals, was killed in 2006 after he was stung in the chest by a stingray.
During last night's Rays-Orioles game, Tampa Bay mascot "Raymond the Ray" held up a sign titled "Rays To Do List." The two items on the list included Steve Irwin, with a line slashed through it, and World Series.
Note: It's unclear if the sign was created by the Rays, or if "Raymond" was simply posing with a fan's sign.
