Photo: NCAA Misspells 'Atlanta' During National Championship
(WSCR) There's nothing worse than misspelling a word.
Nothing can shred credibility faster than spelling errors. When those errors take place on a national stage, it's even worse.
During Monday night's 2012 NCAA National Championship game, the NCAA had a spelling blunder of its own for all of America to see.
Midway through the second half, an advertisement appeared across the scorer's table promoting the 2013 Men's Final Four in Atlanta.
The problem? Atlanta was spelled "Alanta."
