Phil Esposito On Hawks-Bruins Final: 'Doesn't Mean S*** To Me'
(CBS) NHL Hall of Fame center Phil Esposito knows the Blackhawks and Bruins extremely well.
He made his debut for the Blackhawks in 1963 at the age of 21, playing four seasons before he was traded to the Bruins in 1967, where he spent eight years.
Having spent so much time in both organizations, you'd think it would be tough for Esposito to pick a side as the Stanley Cup Final between his two teams looms.
Not so much.
"You want to know the truth," said Esposito, the fifth-leading goal scorer in hockey history. "This series doesn't mean s*** to me.
"I have no feeling for these teams. There's nothing emotional about it. They both got rid of me, traded me. So screw them."
