Peyton Manning Jerseys Banned From Colorado School District
(WSCR) Last time we checked, the No. 18 on the front and back of Peyton Manning's jersey represented his number on the Broncos, not any type of gang affiliation.
Even still, Manning's jersey has been banned from a Colorado school district because the number 18 is often related to certain local gangs.
According to a school spokesperson for the Weld County District 6, the numbers 13, 14, 18, 31, 41 and 81 are not allowed to be worn on clothing because of gang affiliations.
"We're Broncos fans ourselves; it has nothing to do with that. We're just wanting to set a consistent solid, example," said district spokesperson Roger Fiedler.
