Pete Myers Out As Assistant Coach
A few eyebrows raised with the word that Pete Myers will not serve as a bench coach for the Chicago Bulls this upcoming season. That information was learned late Wednesday night. New coach Tom Thibideau made that decision earlier in the day and will look for a replacement.
In all likelihood Myers will remain within the organization as he has always been a favorite of upper management and owner Jerry Reinsdorf.
Myers has twice served as the teams interim head coach and has always been someone the players can talk to. He also was a player on the New York Knicks when Thibideau was an assistant there making this move more then a little surprising.
