Person Shot, Critically Injured On NW Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are investigating the possibility a person who was critically injured early Saturday shot himself in the stomach in the Jefferson Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
At 3:58 a.m. Saturday, a 25-year-old man was shot in the stomach in the 4900 block of N. Mason Ave., according to a release from police News Affairs.
The victim was taken in serious condition to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Police were investigating Saturday morning the possibility the person may have shot himself.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
