Peppers Misses Practice
(CBS) As the Bears began preparation for their Sunday night match up against the Lions, they did so without Julius Peppers as he works to recover from a sprained MCL.
Peppers injured his knee late in the first quarter of the Bears' 24-13 loss Monday night.
Tackle Gabe Carimi (knee), wide receiver Earl Bennett (chest) and defensive tackle Matt Toeaina (knee) also did not participate. Cornerback Charles Tillman (hip) had limited participation, while defensive end Corey Wootton (hand) practiced without limitations.
For the Vikings, cornerback Antoine Winfield (neck) did not participate, while wide receiver Percy Harvin (ribs), linebacker E.J. Henderson (knee) and linebacker Kenny Onatolu (hamstring) had limited participation.
Safety Husain Abdullah (pelvis) and defensive end Jared Allen (eye) practiced without limitations.
