Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Auto In Little Village
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are looking for a vehicle that struck and killed a man early Saturday in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.
The man was walking in the 3100 block of South Pulaski Road and was hit about 3:44 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said. The vehicle, which police did not have a description of as of later Saturday morning, did not stop, Kubiak said.
Paramedics took the man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died. His identity was unknown Saturday morning, though a spokeswoman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said he appeared to be in his 20s.
The CTA's No. 52 Pulaski bus was temporarily rerouted Saturday morning while police investigated.
