Peavy Expected To Rejoin Sox Soon
Jake Peavy tested his pitching arm Wednesday for Triple-A Charlotte Knights. After throwing 72 pitches and striking out four in six innings, he feels he's ready to rejoin the big leagues.
The plan, according to MLB.com, is to have Peavy pitch for the Knights again on April 18 and 23. If he still feels alright after throwing 100 pitches each night, he will rejoin the White Sox on April 29 against the Baltimore Orioles.
