Passerby Stops Mag Mile Robbery; Police Make Arrest
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man who beat a woman with his belt after she refused to give him money appeared on court on Monday to face charges in the attack.
A passerby saw the he altercation at Seneca Park, near Chicago and Michigan Avenues, and jumped into action.
Bobby Williams managed to hold the attacker until police arrived to make the arrest
Kawame Jaco has been charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The woman, 36, was treated for bruises.
