Pass The Potatoes, Not The Political Opinions, Families Say This Thanksgiving
(CBS) -- What were people talking about around the table Thanksgiving Day?
Not politics, in many cases.
"Generally we want to keep it light. Clearly it's been high anxiety the last couple of weeks," Pam Lynch says.
At some homes, certain topics are taboo. Don't come into the Gresham family home to talk about the election.
"We leave that out. This isn't a good time to talk about it," Linda Gresham says. "We would just be rehashing what we already know, so that's how we deal with politics."
