Parise Rejects Blackhawks' Offer, Signs With Wild
(WSCR) Highly-touted free-agent forward Zach Parise has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Wild.
The Blackhawks had reportedly made an offer to the 27-year-old Parise, but he ultimately chose to team up with the recently-acquired defenseman Ryan Suter in Minnesota.
The deal is reportedly worth $98 million over 13 years.
Parise, a Minnesota native, recorded 31 goals and 38 assists with the Devils last season.
