Parents Of NIU Student Who Died At Frat Party Continuing Court Fight
(CBS) -- Another court date Monday in the criminal case against more than 20 young men accused in the death of a 19-year-old NIU freshman fraternity pledge, reports WBBM's Steve Miller reports.
It was at an NIU fraternity event in 2012 when David Bogenberger drank a large amount of alcohol and died.
His father Gary says the family is trying to deal with what happened and fighting to appeal the dismissal of their civil suit.

"My wife and I are obviously probably more upset about this than our children are. Our children seem to be much more resilient."
Gary Bogenberger says it was hazing that caused his son's death.
"David was extremely social. He wanted friendship. He wanted to be a member of something. And to have young men pervert that in such a way as to cause him grievously body harm to death, I think, is absolutely abhorrent."
Plea agreements are expected from the young men who are charged criminally but those pleas are not expected Monday.
