Ozzie Could Face Discipline For Post-Ejection Tweets
After being ejected during Wednesday night's loss to the New York Yankees, Ozzie Guillen took to Twitter to voice his displeasure, and that decision could result in additional discipline for him.
According to Mark Gonzales, of the Chicago Tribune, it's against MLB rules to use social media anytime between 30 minutes prior to a game's start and the end of the game, "regardless of whether a uniformed person is no longer part of the game."
"This one going to cost me a lot money this is patetic," Guillen tweeted after being ejected for arguing a called third strike on Paul Konerko in the first inning.
"Today a tough guy show up a yankee stadium," Guillen later added.
After losing 10 of 11 games, the White Sox won the first two of their series with the Yankees before losing on Wednesday night. They'll go for the series win on Thursday.
