Outbound Dan Ryan Reopens After Crashes

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Four people were injured in one of two crashes on the Dan Ryan Expressway and all outbound lanes were shut down between 87th and 95th streets for more than an hour Friday afternoon.
All outbound lanes were closed between 87th and 95th streets as crews responded, state police said. The lanes were reopened about 3:15 p.m.
The first crash happened in the outbound lanes at 95th Street about 1:40 p.m.
Four people were taken to area hospitals, two in "stable" condition and two in good condition, Knight said.
Meanwhile, another crash with injuries was reported near 87th Street about 2:20 p.m., also in the outbound lanes, according to Illinois State Police.
