Organization Calls Whole Foods Employees To Call In Sick Tuesday

CHICAGO (CBS)-- There could be long lines at Whole Foods on Tuesday as many workers call in sick.

The organization "Whole Worker" is calling for the "sick-out" to demand guaranteed sick leave for employees who self-quarantine, health care for part-time workers and hazard pay.

The group also wants Whole Foods to close any store where an employee tests positive for COVID-19, until it can be safely reopened.

Whole Foods tells CBS 2 it has already taken extensive measures, to keep workers safe.
