One Person Killed In South Side Traffic Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- One person was killed Saturday afternoon in a traffic crash in the Hegewisch neighborhood on the South Side.
The crash occurred about 1:30 p.m. near East 130th Street and South Torrence Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
Police could not provide further details about the crash.
A spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said one person died in the crash, but could not provide more information.
A representative for the Chicago Fire Department could not be reached for comment.
