One Held After Lincoln Park Neighborhood Stabbing
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was stabbed in the arm during an argument Tuesday night on the southern edge of the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The incident occurred inside a residence about 8:40 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Orchard Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
Two people who know each other were arguing and the fight became physical when the 31-year-old man was stabbed in the arm with a knife, according to Gaines.
The victim was taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, according to Gaines, who said the suspect is in custody and a knife was recovered.
The Neighborhood Commons Cooperative housing complex is located on the block of Orchard Street where the stabbing happened. Million-dollar homes and three-flats are also found on the block.
