Offense Shows Potential Through Opening Series

Not only did the 2011 season open the way many expected it to for the Chicago White Sox, it also gave a glimpse at what could be this season.

"One thing that really stood out from their opening series was their offense," Ken Rosenthal, of FOX Sports, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "And again, it's one series, but if [Gordon] Beckham, [Carlos] Quentin and [Brent] Morel look reasonably as good as they did in that series, the rest of the way, then you have something pretty special."

The White Sox put up 24 runs through the first three games, and Quentin may have been their biggest offesnive weapon.

"Now it was the Indians, not the most competitive team," Rosenthal said. "But I was encouraged simply to see those guys get off, even to a good start over three games."
