Oak Park Man Shot And Killed In Humboldt Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- An Oak Park man was fatally shot in the chest during an argument outside early Sunday in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood, police said.
Then man was shot about 2:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Central Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.
Kyle Matthews, 32, of 430 S. Elmwood Ave. in Oak Park, was pronounced dead at 2:50 a.m. Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Matthews was shot at a party, authorities said.
He had gotten into an argument with another male, who pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest, police said.
No one was in custody Sunday morning.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
