NW Suburban Spa Busted Again For Prostitution
LIBERTYVILLE (STMW) -- For the second time in less than two weeks, an employee of a northwest suburban Libertyville spa has been arrested on prostitution charges.
In early January, police received a complaint from a Lake County resident that he was propositioned at the Dragon Spa at 402 Peterson Rd. in Libertyville, according to a Libertyville police release.
After an investigation, a warrant for one count of prostitution was issued for 41-year-old Xiaohong Wu with a $25,000 bond.
On Friday, Wu, of the 100 block of Stockton Drive in Grayslake, was taken into custody about 10 a.m.
Wu posted $2,500, the required 10 percent for the bond, and was released pending a court date of February 15, at 8:30 a.m. at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.
An employee of Wu's, 42-year-old Hong Yang, of the 300 block of West Cermak Road in Chicago, was previously arrested and charged with one count of prostitution on January 7, 2013 during a joint investigation conducted by the Libertyville Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff's office. That investigation is still pending in court.
