Notre Dame RB Cierre Wood To Enter NFL Draft
(CBS) Notre Dame running back Cierre Wood will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Wood finishes his collegiate career with 2,447 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. After redshirting his first year, Wood played for three seasons and would have been a fifth-year senior next season.
The running back either has his degree already or is close to earning his degree, according to the Tribune, and will now have the opportunity to support his daughter.
Wood will train in California as he prepares for the April draft.
