Notre Dame QB Golson Cleared To Play
(WSCR) After being knocked out of Saturday's game, Notre Dame sophomore quarterback Everett Golson has been cleared to return to the field.
Golson, who suffered a concussion during the Irish's overtime win over the Cardinals on Saturday, has started every game this season for Notre Dame. He has yet to practice this week, however, after failing a cognitive test on Monday.
Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly said he's splitting reps in practice between Tommy Rees and Andrew Hendrix, while Golson was left to get "a lot of mental reps."
