Not Their Best Game, But Bulls 'Will Take It'
Derrick Rose led all scorers with 29 points in the Chicago Bulls' 91-86 win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. And it was a win that the Bulls definitely needed.
"We were on a two-game losing streak," Bulls' forward Carlos Boozer said. "And we needed to win as bad as ever. And we're happy we won."
The Bulls had a lot at stake in Wednesday night's game. They entered the game at 11-12 on the road this season and having dropped two consecutive games due mainly to poor defensive performances. The "W" will count towards the Bulls' record, but it wasn't the best one they've earned this season.
"We still didn't play great," Bulls guard Kyle Korver said. "Our defense wasn't very good. We did just enough to win. I mean just enough to win, but we'll take it."
Up next for the Bulls is a Saturday night matchup with the Hornets in New Orleans. It'll be a battle between two of the league's top point guards in Rose and Chris Paul.
The Bulls sit in third place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 35-16 and have the chance to get above .500 on the road with a win on Saturday,.
