Some county board members are saying that outgoing board president Todd Stroger is not cooperating with his successor, Chicago Alderman Toni Preckwinkle, as she prepares to assume office next month.
The Chicago Tribune reports the two met for the first time on Tuesday after what Preckwinkle calls "zero" cooperation from Stroger and the meeting lasted only a few minutes.
The Tribune quotes County Board member John Daley as saying that, at next week's board meeting, Stroger and top officials in his office will be asked to give specific details of their transition efforts.
