Chicago police warn of 15 vehicle break-ins early Saturday on Northwest Side
Chicago Police on Sunday were looking for suspects who broke into several vehicles this weekend.
Police issued a warning after the group damaged and stole from more than a dozen locations on the city's Northwest Side.
This crime spree happened in three different Chicago neighborhoods. Thieves even targeted a police officer's vehicle.
A victim who spoke to CBS News Chicago off-camera said she believes the thieves targeted first responders.
Police said in each of the incidents, a group of four to five people drove up to a parked vehicle in a blue sedan, smashed one of the windows, and searched the car for valuables before driving off.
