Northern Illinois' Lynch Named MAC MVP
(WSCR) While NIU will have to wait until Friday to play Kent State in the Mid-American Conference championships, the team has something it can already celebrate.
Junior quarterback Jordan Lynch has been named the 2012 Most Valuable Player in the MAC.
This is the sixth straight year a Huskie has taken home MVP honors.
Leading the Huskies to an 11-1 record, Lynch has thrown for 2,750 yards with 23 touchdowns and four interceptions for a rating of 157.3.
