North Suburban YMCA Member Turns 104
(CBS) -- A North suburban man is turning 104 on Saturday, and the YMCA where he works out in Northbrook is throwing a birthday party for him.
March 9, 1909 is the birthdate of Max Fabian. He's kind of a character.
"We had 40 years of a man and his son running the city of Chicago," Fabian tells WBBM Newsradio's Steve Miller in a wide-ranging interview. "No candidate who is nominated should have more than two terms."
He declines to answer whether he's a Republican or a Democrat. He says he tries to work out three or four times a week at the North Suburban YMCA.
"Sometimes I get tired, you know?" says Fabian, who retired at age 102.
He's not much of a drinker. But Max Fabian smokes a cigar every day.
