Nolan Ryan Hospitalized In Houston
(CBS) Texas Rangers CEO and President Nolan Ryan was hospitalized in Houston after experiencing discomfort Sunday at his home in Georgetown, Texas, the team announced Monday.
Ryan will undergo tests Monday for what is believed to be a recurring heart condition.
The team said Ryan "is resting comfortably and reports he is feeling better. He is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days."
Ryan has served as the Rangers' team president since 2008. The Hall-of-Fame pitcher became an owner of the club in 2010. He pitched for the Mets, Astros, Angels and Rangers over the course of a major league record 27-year career.
