Noah Could Miss Rest Of Regular Season
(CBS) After suffering a setback in Sunday's loss against the Pistons, Bulls center Joakim Noah could sit out the last six games of the regular season.
Noah took a cortisone shot Monday to relieve the pain in his right foot as he continues to battle plantar fasciitis. Noah said he won't shut it down completely, but it appears possible he will rest the foot for the remainder of the regular season to get ready for the playoffs. Right now he's listed as day-to-day.
Meanwhile, Noah is just one of many Bulls players who will be on the bench when they host the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night. Luol Deng (right hip), Taj Gibson (left knee) and Richard Hamilton (back) will also be out and there's no sign of a return of Derrick Rose any time soon.
Marco Belinelli is expected to play in his second straight game after returning from an abdomen injury, but his minutes could be limited.
