No Injuries Reported From South Side Gas Leak
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A South Side block was evacuated briefly Monday morning after a water crew struck a gas main.
The incident took place in a parkway at 6051 S. Massasoit Ave., where a water crew struck a gas main, Fire Media Affairs said. The block was evacuated.
The leak was fixed and the scene secured about 11:36 a.m.
