NHL Suspends Hansen For Hit On Hossa
(CBS) Canucks forward Jannik Hansen received a one-game suspension by the NHL for delivering a forearm to the back of Blackhawks' forward Marian Hossa's head on Tuesday.
Hossa laid on the ice for a few moments after Hansen clocked him in the back of the head early in the third period, and had to be helped off the ice. He did not return to the game. He did score two goals before he was hurt. It is unclear how long Hossa might be out.
