New Year's Eve Patrol With Supt. Garry McCarthy
(CBS) -- Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy hit the streets Monday night during what can be a dangerous time in Chicago -- New Year's Eve.
CBS 2's Brad Edwards spent some time driving around with the city's top cop, who was the focus of national media attention last week when Chicago's homicide tally hit 500.
"I'm really confident that 2013 is going to be an unparalleled success in the Chicago Police Department," McCarthy said.
