New Program Will Give Some O'Hare Travelers Quicker Trip Though Customs
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Some Travelers flying into O'Hare International Airport will have a quicker trip through customs, thanks to a new city program getting underway today, reports WBBM Political Editor Craig Dellimore.
City Aviation Commissioner Rosemarie Andolino says the new program is called One Stop and is tailored to those arriving at the international terminal and traveling light.
"One Stop is a program that allows customers who are only carrying on bags to exit the customs hall by greeting basically just one CBP member. So they go out, in a sense a side exit, disclose and declare their bags and what they have and they are able to move on and exit," said Andolino.

Right now, people without luggage have to wait in the same line as those with checked bags. Andolino says this could speed things up for all passengers.
