Nationals Game Postponed Following Shooting
LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Monday night's game between the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves has been postponed following a shooting at the Washington Navy Yard that claimed the lives of 12 people Monday morning.
A tweet from the Nationals public relations department said the game would be rescheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday and be played as part of a day-night doubleheader at Nats Park in Southeast D.C. The ballpark is a short distance from where the shootings occurred and stadium patrons use the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro station.
