Nationals Attacking Pitches Up In The Zone

(CBS) In the first two innings of Game 5, the Washington Nationals were jumping all over high pitches from Cubs right-hander Kyle Hendricks.

That's what was noted by Daren Willman, director of baseball research and development for Major League Baseball:

It included Nationals center fielder Michael A. Taylor jumping all over a pitch way up and out of the strike zone for a three-run homer to give his team a 4-1 lead in the second inning.

In fact, the whole team was feasting on pitches upstairs.
