National Parks On A Public Transit Map
By John Dodge
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Imagine if you could take public transit to the National Parks.
The Sierra Club did just that, and the good news for Chicago is that the system goes right through Chicago!
Chicagoans could pick up the "Orange Line" and make connections to every National Park in the United States. (It appears all rails would lead to Yosemite.)
Of course, no such system does, or ever will, exist.
And the Sierra Club jokingly cautions that the map is "so incredibly not to scale."
Setting that aside, it is a nice work of art, and makes it clear that we all need to ride the subway to Alaska.
